From the very start of pioneering YWAM Trentino 6 years ago, we have always been very intentional about raising up younger leaders to join us in leadership in order for them to take it further than we ever could. In the past two years we have started working with a Core Leadership Team, that we expanded recently. We have also invited two Core Team members to be Base Leaders alongside of myself. In the past few months Rianne has laid down her role as Base Leader, while I (Reinier) am now part of a team of 3 Base Leaders, and taking the time to train and coach the new Core Team and Base Leaders in their roles. 

We’re very proud to present to you our Base Leaders Johan Knol and Elisabetta Perrone! Johan already used to work together with us in Amsterdam, in the meantime got married to his Brazilian wife Iohana and they are expecting their second baby. Elisabetta was our very first Italian student, first Italian staff, first Italian Core Team member and will continue to be one of many firsts. We love working together with these two and are confident they will do an amazing job as base leaders, leading the team with faith and vision for what God is doing in and through YWAM Trentino!

The Core Team has expanded with Jonathan from Costa Rica, Paolo from Italy, Iohana from Brazil and Tom from The Netherlands. This Core Team is overseeing our five Circles of leadership which are: 

• Global Mission - our training schools and international connections, projects and future vision. 
• Local Impact - our local connections, ministry and vision for impact. 
• Backbone - our operational areas like the kitchen, housing, finances, vehicles and much more. 
• Communications & Mobilization - Communicating what God is doing in and through YWAM Trentino and sharing with people how they can be part of that! And also mobilizing Italians for missions, and as you can see: getting this newsletter before your eyes! 
• Community Life - overseeing and leading our corporate rhythms as we build a community that works together, shares our lives together, worships together, grows together, knows God and makes Him known together. 

One of YWAM’s core values is to work in teams and we are so thankful for this amazing team that we get to work with, and are filled with faith and anticipation because of who each of them are and their commitment to Jesus and His Kingdom!
